Help with controller mapping! [message #67755]

Hey guys, a little backstory first - played a good 20 hours of Fable: TLC on my 360 when the damned game froze and corrupted all my save files. Bought Fable:TLC on PC.... but I've never played a PC game before at all and using the keyboard to play Fable is nerve-wracking for me.

I just downloaded xpadder and motioninjoy and both are recognizing my controller (a PS3 controller, btw), but I really need help in mapping the controls as I have never done anything like this before!

I initially tried to just use the controls from this thread, but the xpadder app there isn't compatible with my version of Windows.

Do any of you have experience with this? I'd love some help on this issue as I feel a primal urge to play this game.

This is what I have so far, but I'm a bit stumped as to what to do next.

Uh, not good with mapping but i had the same issue. To run the app on my version of Windows(Windows 7 64 bit) ; i went to properties then ticked compatibility tab i clicked "run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows Xp(service pack 3)"

I could use some help as well. I bought TLC on steams sale but I have no idea how to map. I've got an xbox controller but we are still in the same boat.

I tried the xbox360 profile from here http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&goto=25962& amp; but I get an error saying "This controller file is not valid" and I can't reply in that topic for some reason.

And then I downloaded the profile from the other thread. Now I just need to figure out why xpadder keeps switching profiles while I play Smile
