I'm newbish to fable modding and there are all these mods for the xbox version of the game and i downloaded the fmp's for the 1's i wanted to try...now what do i do with them...
my box is chipped, i have fable tlc on my hdd and those files ftp'ed to my PC...
i also have fable explorer 4 with the xbox def xml, fable tools, and Free roam
how do i apply the fmp's
o and i did search before you bother me about that
all help appreciated

well i tried it and the game played untill the intro was over...then froze...any help?
btw all the mods were for xbox version

i'm srry to double post but some1 plz help...i'll hook u up with mods, edits and uts for games like esf/ecx/evm, runescape, halo2, GunZ the duel, and many others...

Clearly you didn't search or were searching for the wrong things.

* Open up FE and go to File>Load Fable Mod Package.
* After this a window will appear allowing you to select the fmp you want.
* After you selected it you'll need to give FE a moment or 2 to make the changes (the time taken will vary depending on the complexity of the mod and the power of your PC)
* Now you'll need to save and copy the files back to your xbox.

well then i'm missing a major step...how is fable explorer supposed to detect my fable game since it's for xbox...i have the files for it on my desktop...srry for the newbieness
i prob aren't lookin for the right thing...i'll look again but plz help

It won't "detect" it.

You need to open the files yourself. Auto-load is a pc feature only.

File>Open

so wut, do i just turn the biz files to big and wutnot?
wut's the point of free roaming app?

Well i am usin fe but when i pick sum files not all of them show that i chose them...do i need to convert any biz to big before applying the fmp's?

well i got 1 of my fmp's to work but the others say sumthing along the lines of-
Control Bytes Mismatch. ID="XXXXXXXX"

I have the same problem. I think its cause I don’t have the graphics and textures loaded in FE because it crashes. I don’t know why it crashes. Wish some one would help.
