You're doing it wrong.

Go to the Avenger in OBJECT

Double click

Press the plus next to OBJECT in the new window.

Click CDefs

Go to CInventoryItemDef and click the top Blue link in the box

In the new window, click CInventoryItemDef

On the right, in the second box down, click the blue link.

Edit as you will.

Apply changes, close the window

Save mods and run fable.

Or if you are lazy, use the fmp i made.
