is it possible to change the heroes combat style to a different one like a rival hero for example? because i tried it but it didn't do anything

Under 'editing the hero', it's the one about changing the hero's appearance with 'more advanced (read the whole thread)' beside it. Once you go to that second thread read it carefully.
