i tried to replace the normal heart at the top of the screen with
the evil one but when i loaded my game it stoped working.

(now i dunno if this is against the rules but i need the original heart)

I found jesus , he was behind the fridge

Yea, you'll have to grab the original off of your discs.

But you might not have messed up that much.
It might be as simple as importing it as a DXT3 and leaving it transparent, or importing it as DXT1 and turning off alpha.
