I need a bit fo help im editing all the augments and need help with dmg. eg need to know how many points im really adding

It's a straight multiplier. The squared part is incorrect.

So if a weapon has a 3.4 in it's damage than when that augmentation is applied it will be multiplied by 1.1.

You understand that damage values in FE need to be multiplied by 10 to see what their in game value is.
