how would you go about getting the characters' body into blender exactley ?

i want to make some armors and masks and what not and other then making the model my self i didn't come accross any thing

it imports just the back of the hero with no textures or bumps

hi.. and well i have the same problem although i dont think you can fix it its just because the .x importer/exporter isnt very good try searching on google for (blender .x) or something you might find one but i didnt
